Managing Director
Graeme is an experienced, straight-talking accountant whose mission is to make finances work for business owners, not stress them out. With more than three decades in practice and two decades leading his own firm, he now heads Cloud Accountancy (Whitefield) Ltd — specialising in cloud accounting, tax planning and business advisory.
Based in Manchester, Graeme has deep expertise working with construction, property, and owner-managed businesses who seek clarity, growth, and less hassle around their numbers.
He believes that technology — including cloud accounting and automation — must serve the business, not the other way around. He champions a hands-on, approachable style so clients actually understand what’s going on.
With more than 30 years in accountancy, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of industries — from construction and telecommunications to retail with large multinationals. Along the way, I’ve taken on roles as a project manager, finance manager, and management accountant, which has given me a solid understanding of how businesses run from the inside.
In recent years, I’ve brought that experience into public practice, working directly with individuals, small businesses, and growing companies. My approach is simple: keep things clear, practical, and tailored to each client. I know that finance can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my aim is always to make it straightforward and manageable, giving you the confidence to focus on running your business.

CFO Practice Lead
Bilal is a Chartered Accountant and ICAEW member with more than 20 years of senior finance experience across the UK, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. He began his career with one of the Big 4 firms before holding senior positions with global brands including EY, Abbott, Smith & Nephew, JAFZA and Gazeley UK. His career has spanned multiple sectors such as aviation, manufacturing, logistics, real estate and pharmaceuticals — giving him a broad commercial understanding of how different businesses operate and grow.
Before joining Cloud Accountancy UK, Bilal served as Group CFO for a £500M multinational, leading financial transformation and governance projects across multiple regions. At Cloud Accountancy, he leads our CFO Practice — helping ambitious businesses access top-tier financial leadership, improve performance, and scale sustainably with confidence.
Trainee Accountant
Muhammed is a trainee accountant supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts. He’s developing his expertise in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks Online, and plays an active role in preparing accurate, timely financial information for our clients.
He’s currently working toward his professional accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA) and is passionate about using technology to streamline accounting processes.
After several years working for a busy legal firm, I decided it was time for a change and moved into the world of accountancy, I joined Graeme and the team back in June to assist with all things reception and admin with my strong background in organisation and client support.
I love the friendly, modern approach Cloud takes with clients – making accountancy simple, accessible and personal. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me planning my next trip or spending time with my family, especially my 2 daughters who always keep me smiling and on my toes.
